Terri is a loving, kind spirit that sees good in all things. She spent seven years working at Medifast, as a motivational leader. There she helped both men and women overcome their everyday battles with food addiction. When her days at Medifast came to an end, she knew she was created to help others in an even greater way.
The past seven years Terri continued using her skills and incorporated them working at Food For the Hungry, never wanting any child to go without food. Terri chooses to live her life daily by helping others become healthy and at peace with overcoming addictions, unhealed trauma, and generational pass downs, that have trapped them into an unhealthy style of living.
It wasn’t long until Terri found her next project working with Behind Fear to Freedom as a table leader, advisor coach, and mentor for an amazing four years. Terri has inspired so many people along the way and wants to continue using her knowledge she holds and place it into words in her upcoming books.
She has a background working with prison ministries, which was also something that Terri felt she was called to do. She worked supervising individuals at the prison and touched many lives through teaching truth and inner healing, helping many woman understand their true identity in who they were created to be.
Using her years of experience, Terri has managed along the way to focus on helping women overcome struggles, build strength, and give hope for a future with better days ahead. She was passionate about doing so, because she wanted to help women who have gone through similar situations to herself. (Childhood Trauma, PTSD, Bad Relationships, Divorce, Rejection, lack of value and self worth, Depression, Anxiety, Fear, Addiction) Terri has discovered the ultimate key to true happiness is love.
“Divorce can be an ugly situation, especially when children are involved. Sometimes our hardest choices can be the best decisions to find true happiness. We must not live in fear of what may happen, but trust that it is for the better good and true freedom.” - Terri Tafoya
Terri is an exact example of divorcing for the better and still being able to live a happy life. She wants to help other women in similar situations know that there is a way to a better life, she is living proof of that.
Terri is the author of her book called “Eternal truth” where Terri talks about her divorce, how hard it was walking away by faith. Though divorce can be very hard, it can be an absolute blessing in disguise.
“Some think that holding on makes us strong, but sometimes it’s letting go, that allows us to fly.”
